What is life coaching and consulting?

Coaching and consulting are terms that are often used interchangeably. A consultant has the knowledge and experience to solve a specific problem, while coaching is more about finding a solution together.

Coaching is guiding someone on a personal level to bring out the best in this person. This can be done in many different ways and with all kinds of techniques. The best approach varies from person to person. An important technique in this is to ask specific questions so that you come to certain insights and become aware of how you live and why you live in a certain way. Consulting is the provision of the solution for what comes up for you personally. At Magick Life we combine, among other things, these aforementioned terms.

Ultimately we can give it all kinds of names and it is of course good that there are definitions and descriptions of this, but this can also have a restrictive effect. In the case of Magick Life, you could also call it therapy, counseling or mentoring. However, it is important to realize that all these terms are very conditioned and when used separately from each other they can very easily miss the real core. At Magick Life we look at the solution per individual. We look at the past, present and future. And also at the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects. We understand that everything is connected.

When is this something for me?

We offer sessions for people who dare to look at themselves and life openly and honestly. It does not matter what background and experience you have. Magick Life is the right place for personal development and expansion in consciousness. Do you want to take a deep dive into yourself or just get a different perspective on a situation and receive simple tips and tools? Then Magick Life is definitely for you!

You can also contact us via our contact form for a free introductory talk of approximately 15 minutes. Then we will see what we can do for each other. The introductory talk will take place online or by phone. Please know that an introductory talk is not required in order for you to book a session.

How does a session work?

As you have probably already read on the website, we offer both live and online sessions in Dutch and in English. You can choose whether you would like a session with both of us or with one of us. Live sessions currently take place only at your home or at an agreed location; online sessions are via Zoom or Skype. Options for online sessions can be chosen in the online calendar; for live sessions, please contact us for options. You can find out how a Zoom or Skype session works and what you need to know in the question below.

Before we start the session, we first have a short chat. After that we will start the session of about 60 minutes and will finish our conversation with a short chat also. The short chats are not part of the hour you have booked, so you don’t have to worry that these will go off your time.

During the 60-minutes conversation we really get to work. In combination with our highly developed intuition, contact with the spiritual world, our knowledge and experience, we eventually get to the root of the challenge(s). After which the solution automatically presents itself with the associated insights. This is followed by practical and effective tips and tools that you can then use.

We will record the session for you and will send it to you afterwards in an audio file. This gives you the opportunity to listen again to the session whenever you like.

After the session we will evaluate the conversation. We will process any additional points that arise during the evaluation in a report. We will send this report, along with the audio file, to you by e-mail within a few days.

How can I prepare for a session?

We advise you to make a list for yourself with what you would like to discuss with us. It is of course useful to start with the topics that are most important to you. You can bring this list with you to the session to make sure you don’t forget something you would have liked to discussed.

What types of sessions can I choose from?

We offer live sessions as well as online sessions in Dutch and English. You can choose whether you would like a session with both of us or with one of us.

How many people can come to a session?

We advise you to come to the session alone. Do you really want to take someone with you? Then you can fill this in in the ‘Comments’ box at step three of your booking and mention there who you want to bring with you.

What do I need to know for an online session?

A session via Zoom or Skype has the same content as a live session.

For a Zoom session you will receive an e-mail from us well in advance with all the information you need for this.

For a Skype session it is important that you provide us with the correct Skype username and the associated e-mail address. Please note that we only use Skype names to call you and not phone numbers associated with Skype. This means that you have an account that is linked to your e-mail address. This way we can find you on Skype on the day of the appointment and start the conversation with you at the agreed time.

It is also important that you ensure a good internet connection and that you are on time for the session.

Are there any tips for after a session?

We advise you to take a rest after the session to allow everything to sink in and to enjoy it afterwards. A walk in nature or just lying on your couch; feel whatever helps you to relax.

We also advise you to listen to the audio file and read the report of the session so that you can get started with it and you can take whatever you need from it at that moment.

How can I pay?

This is very easy. When booking a session, we ask you to pay directly. The payment is then immediately arranged, so you don’t have to think about that anymore.

You can pay via iDeal, Credit Card, Klarna Pay Now and Apple Pay. At the last step of your booking you will be given the opportunity to choose between these options.

After booking you will automatically receive a confirmation by e-mail and a separate e-mail in which you can find the paid invoice.

Why do you also do sessions together?

We are completely attuned to each other and complement each other perfectly, which ensures that we can offer you a high-quality session.

Why can I not choose a trajectory?

We do not offer trajectories so that you can decide for yourself whether, when and how often you want to book a session. Because this differs greatly per person, we do not bind anyone to a trajectory. But if you still prefer this, we can of course discuss a trajectory in consultation.

How many sessions do I need?

That depends entirely on what you come for and what comes up in the session. It is therefore impossible to say in advance how many sessions are enough for you. After your first session, we will mention in our report whether we think it would be useful for you to book a follow-up session. However, realize that you are not committed to anything and that you can decide this yourself.

Is an online session as effective as a live session?

Definitely! In terms of content and effectiveness, there is no difference in live or online.

Are the sessions in Dutch or English?

While booking a session you can choose whether you want the session in Dutch or in English.

What if I live in a different time zone?

At step 2 of your booking you will see the online agenda. Above the online agenda, you can choose the city near you that has the same time zone as where you live. Once you have chosen the correct city, the times in the online agenda will change to the times in your time zone.
